Hope to return.
Thank you so much for providing so many extras that made for such a welcoming and delightful stay at the 'Nest'. We had already had 'visions' as to what we were to expect, but it was everything we could have wished for. We have had a lovely stay, and have already made up our minds to come back to stay later in the year.
We would most definitely recommend the 'Nest' to family and friends on our return home.
Our heartfelt thanks for a lovely place to stay. Thank you, from Pam & Tony.
We've had a lovely few days here visiting Sissinghurst, Great Dixter and Rye. Gardens were amazing, especially Sissinghurst. The Nest was fab, so pretty and had everything we needed. Despite the weather we managed to sit out once in the garden, and went on a couple of Bertie's walks too. Brilliant photo laminated sheets of walks, thank you!
Have absolutely loved our stay here, a perfect base for what we wanted to do. The Nest is comfortable and beautifully furnished, would definitely recommend to others and hope to be aback again.
Emma & Edna (Leicestershire)
Thank you for your hospitality. Lovely well equipped "Nest" and welcome breakfast additions.
Would highly recommend the White Dog and visits to Sissinghurst, Rye - Lamb House and Tenterden.
We will be back...
Pam and David (Surrey)
I knew what to expect with The Nest having stayed twice in the shepherd's hut and I haven't been disappointed! Thank you so much Judith for making me feel so comfortable and happy here in my home county. It's been so lovely to be back again. I just love 'The Nest', it's great for me on my own and lovely to have more outside space to have my breakfast in and a lovely sun trap - it's a pity I've only been able to use it twice!
You make me feel 'cherished,' that's the only way I can describe it. Holidaying alone is not easy but I don't feel alone when I am here. Bless you and thank you. I hope I will return again.
Love Gill.
Thank you for making our short break holiday so enjoyable. The 'Nest' is a true credit to you, very cosy and comfortable. We thoroughly enjoyed the garden in the sunshine. Max enjoyed it all, the new smells as dogs do.
Looking forward to a return visit in the near future. There are so many interesting places to visit that are very nearby.
A truly "BIG" thank you for a great stay.
Take care,
Stephen, Richard and Max
What a gorgeous, cosy and comfortable place the Nest is.
So many places of interest to visit and then to return to the Nest at the end of the day is wonderful.
Loved every minute Judith, thank you x

Thank you Judith - we found your advertisement in 'Country Living' and booked from New Zealand. A lovely quiet spot (as we knew from previous stay in Ewhurst Green some years ago). Very impressive how you have fitted everything we needed in such a small space, yet very comfortable and welcoming - as well as spotlessly clean. Lovely touch with croissants too.
Thank you,
Paul and Enid (Ohoka, New Zealand)

Can highly recommend: Bodiam Castle, a visit to Rye, The Hub for breakfast/lunch, Battle & Hastings, Dinner at The Salehurst Halt and The White Dogg Inn.

We've had a lovely week staying in 'The Nest'. Our first visit to E Sussex and will most definitely not be our last, especially having found this wonderful gem of a place to stay. Thank you for all the little extra touches, we have loved your garden and made good use of the outdoor space as able to have breakfast and night caps 5 out of our 7 day stay. We enjoyed Bertie's walks very much to Bodiam and the recommendations of places to visit and to eat. The White Dog Inn was our absolute favourite and would highly recommend. We have visited Sissinghurst, Bodiam Castle, Batemans, various local nurseries, Dungeness and Rye Nature Reserve + Camber Sands - all truly delightful. We will be back for sure. Many thanks Judith from Bebecca & Sarah.
The Nest, Shepherds Hut, Bodiam Castle - 6 magical words we will not forget! We have enjoyed a wonderful stay with every comfort provided. So many thoughtful touches, with top quality provisions and furnishings, in beautiful surroundings. What's not to love? We'll be back!!

Thank you so much Judith for a wonderful stay in the beautiful Nest. Everything you need and more to have a relaxing break. You have thought of everything. Having stayed at the shepherd's hut before, I knew it was going to be lovely. The food provisions are excellent , the garden space is wonderful and and so many lovely places to visit in the area. I visited Bodiam Castle (twice!) and the beautiful Pashley Manor gardens. The café was amazing too!
Thank you Judith for being the wonderful person you are. You really make people feel special and comfortable.
Best wishes, Louise
We so enjoyed our stay last November, so delighted to be back. Just as cosy and comfortable as ever - change in bed position much better. Excellent provisions - thank you Judith. As last year enjoyed lunch at Castle Inn and despite weather not being good had a lovely day on Kent & East Sussex Railway. I was being treated for my 90th birthday, and they made a real fuss of us! Thank you too, Judith for the bubbly!
Lots of love, Alan & Janet
